Monday mornings are hard for me. The kids are in complete chaos and most of the time I am super tired from the crazy weekend that I just survived!
As I sit here thinking about what I am going to contribute to this awesome new blog, I am looking at a page that I made about a year ago that is framed and hanging above my computer. The title of the page is MEMORIES. I used two definition stickers for captions:
CHERISH (cher-ish) 1. to hold dear 2. to treasure, adore, value and love
PRECIOUS (presh'-es) 1. of great worth 2. beloved; cherished
Let's use those words to create another layout. You can use them anyway that you would like. I think that I may focus on the word BELOVED and create a 1 picture layout with negative space.
I think that an antique page would also look awesome, so maybe I will make 2 layouts...

Space : 30& postive and 70& negative
Challenge:
Negative space is big in the scrapbooking world.
This challenge is all about learning how to use
negative space in a fun new way with a little twist.
This is what you will need for the challenge:
- 2 photo
- four printed papers
- a bright colored cardstock (back ground)
- two different colored cardstocks for matting
- five embellishments
- a three word title
This challenge is a 48 hour challenge. Once it is finished post a picture to your blog, twitter or facebook and post a link to your finished layout in a comment. This is a fun way to share our creations.
Challenge will be closed @ 3pm on 5/5
This picture came out a little blurry but it is a pretty layout.
The things you really cant see are:
There are metal balls on the end of each floret, cardboard stickers, journaling, gem brads, the title "Live Laugh Love" and there is paper used as trim throughout the layout.
*because i didnt stick to my own layout i will be doing another closer to the challenge it self.
